Hello everyone! ๐Ÿ‘‹๐Ÿ‘‹
In this post, I am going to explain 'quick number format' presets. I hope you will find it insightful. The Inforiver matrix comes with a built-in intelligent number formatting and scaling recognition feature. You can instantly apply number formatting using ready-made presets in your Power BI report, eliminating the need for manual formatting.

I understand that this can be a time-consuming task, particularly when working with multiple measures in a report. Formatting each measure individually can be quite tedious.

However, Inforiver's 'Auto' number format feature recognizes number scaling within a column and applies the appropriate formatting to each cell.

Inforiver offers four different presets for number formatting. Refer the image below.

  1. Uniform: Uniform applies a universal format and specifies the format multiplier in the header.

  2. Measure Level: Measure level will format each measure individually and place the multiplier in the header of each measure.

  3. Auto: Auto, which will format each individual cell separately and include the multiplier in the actual cells themselves.

  4. Native (Power BI Format): Native, which will adopt the native formatting from the tabular model or measure and apply it to the entire matrix.
