Inforiver Analytics+ โ€“ Gantt Settings Fiscal Year & Week Start Day Control

In Gantt chart settings offer enhanced customization, giving users greater control over Fiscal Year setup and Week Start Day preferences.

To provide users with the ability to define:

  • The start month of the fiscal year, which determines fiscal quarters and year labeling.

  • The starting day of the week, which affects how weeks are calculated and displayed in Gantt charts and reports.

Fiscal Year Control:

Users can now set the starting month of the fiscal year, which will dynamically adjust fiscal year and quarter calculations.

Examples:

  • If the fiscal year starts in January, then:

    • Q1 = January to March of the same year (e.g., Q1 2025)

  • If the fiscal year starts in April, then:

    • Q1 = April to June of the same year (e.g., Q1 2025)

Properties:

  • Fiscal Year Start Month: Selectable from January to December.

Note:

  • If the default fiscal year type is selected, the year remains unchanged and starts from the selected month.

  • If the fiscal type is selected, the fiscal year display will increase by +1 (e.g., April 2024 start will be labeled as FY 2025).

Week Start Day Control:

Users can now define which day marks the start of the week, allowing for tailored week-based reporting and visualization.

Examples:

  • If the week starts on Monday, then:

    • Week 2 = Monday to Sunday

  • If the week starts on Sunday, then:

    • Week 2 = Sunday to Saturday

Properties:

  • Week Start Day: Selectable from Sunday to Saturday

Sync Behavior:

Week start settings will synchronize with the selected fiscal year type and start month to ensure consistent time-based reporting.
