How to Hide Table Headers/Measure Headers in Inforiver Matrix

The header row (or the first row) of a table usually holds title information for each column. This is an integral part of table/matrix visuals in dashboards and reports. However, there are cases where one needs to display a table without qualifying the header information.

In the Power BI table visual it is not possible to remove the header row. A workaround solution is to change the font color and background color of the table header to match one another thereby making the contents of the header row hidden. However, this is just a workaround solution, and does not deliver a good user experience.

Inforiver Matrix allows you a lot of flexibility and customizations, including the ability to remove row headers instantly with a single click.

1. Listed below is a table rendered using Inforiver Matrix in Power BI. We can click on the Display option located under the Home tab:

  1. Under Display, we choose General, and when we scroll down, we will find an option called Show Measure Header:

3. Turn off this Show Measure Header option. The table is now displayed without the table header:
