Inforiver Writeback Matrix now support quick formula, data input and forecast columns in header charts and KPIs.
How to use this feature?
We will create a quick measure to demonstrate this example.
Now, we can go to Header & Footer option in the Design tab and select KPI, as shown below.
Now, hover over the KPI and select “Change Data”, as shown below.
Now, we can select the Rows that we want to display in the KPI card.
The same can be done with the Column too. But the users can also manually select a cell that they want to display in the KPI using the Manual option.
If a chart is used as a header, then we can use the Random Selection to multiple rows and display it in the chart.
Where can this feature be used?
This feature can be used in Power BI Desktop as well in Power BI Service. The charts and KPIs can be modified in the Edit mode in Power BI Service as well.
FAQs
Why am I not able to use the Random Selection feature in the Reading View?
This KPIs and Charts can only be modified in the Edit View and not in the Reading View.
