Requirement:
Is it possible to hide empty rows from the image below?
Yes, Inforiver provides a toggle switch to Suppress Zeros.
Solution:
To achieve the desired output, you need to enable Hierarchy → Ragged Hierarchy.
What is Ragged Hierarchy?
In the case of ragged/unbalanced hierarchies where the number of levels is uneven.
Notice how the blank categories under Project Director' and ‘Procurement Manger Mobilization' and other categories where blank are there have been hidden after enabling the Ragged Hierarchy option.
However, we still see a few blank rows, which occur because these are the parents of the blank categories. To hide them, we need to enable "Suppress Zero."
Additionally, ensure that Native Totals are enabled. When the total calculation is disabled, when large datasets need to be retrieved in milliseconds.

Frequently Asked Questions:
1. When to enable Ragged Hierarchy?
Ans. When unbalanced hierarchies where the number of levels is uneven, you can hide the blank category rows by enabling ragged hierarchies.
2. Why don’t I see Suppress Zero under hierarchy tab?
Ans. This could be due to Performance Mode being turned on, or Native Totals under the hierarchy tab might be disabled to speed up large dataset loading. Enabling Native Totals will allow you to activate Suppress Zero.
