Inforiver supports RELATIVE function that changes the absolute reference to relative reference.
Lets take an example to understand how RELATIVE function works.
Say, the requirement is to add a column using Visual Measure to calculate the Sales by Colour.
The formula without the RELATIVE function takes the Absolute value of Total Sales.
See below the formula updated with RELATIVE function and the calculation satisfies the requirement.
Total Sales for Azure = 67.36k
Calculated Sales for United States = 15.43k +Total Sales for Azure =82.79k
The formula with RELATIVE function calculates the Calculated Sales for every Colour respectively.
This is Cell reference with RELATIVE function. The same is possible for Column reference too.
