Progress Bar Charts in Inforiver Charts!

One of the most unique ways of showcasing our data is through the use of the Progress Bar Chart. Using the Progress Bar Chart, we can highlight how much we have achieved against a benchmark target set by us.

Let us understand with an example.

Say we want to measure how much the Sales of each Category has done against the overall benchmark in this case the Total Revenue. We can use the Progress Bar Chart to accomplish this.

To create a Progress Bar Chart, we just require two values:

1) We can change the Progress Bar Chart to being in either the curved shape or square shape by going to Settings -> Canvas -> Progress Style:

2) We can then set our Actual value and the Max Value (our benchmark value) and see how much of our Actual Value has come close to the benchmark. So, in this example we measure which Segments Revenues have come close to the Actual Revenue:

3) We can even set our own custom benchmark value by selecting the Custom option under the Max Value dropdown:

4) In this case I have set the Custom value as 50000 and we can now see the changes in the Progress Bar Chart:

5) We can even change the Actual Values based on a Conditional Formatting background by enabling Individual category format option:

6) We also have the option of changing the Actual Values with either Solid type or Hatched type:
